Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9461 — he said: Lengthening the prayer

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ثنا زَائِدَةُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: «طُولُ الصَّلَاةِ، وَقِصَرُ الْخُطْبَةِ مَئِنَّةٌ مِنْ فِقْهِ الرَّجُلِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "Lengthening the prayer and shortening the sermon are a sign of a man's understanding."
