حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ، ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: «سَاعَةٌ مَا أَتَيْتُهُ فِيهَا إِلَّا وَجَدْتُهُ قَائِمًا يُصَلِّي مَا بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ، وَالْعِشَاءِ» ، يَعْنِي عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ
Abd al-Rahman bin Yazid narrates: "There is an hour in which, whenever I came to him, I found him standing in prayer, (namely) between Maghrib and Isha" - meaning (he said this about) Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him).
