حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَجَلِيُّ، ثنا مِنْدَلُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ: «ذَبَحْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَاةً بِشِظَاظٍ وَشَوَيْتُهُ، فَأَكَلَ وَلَمْ يَتَمَضْمَضْ، وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»
Sayyiduna Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I slaughtered a goat for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) with a pointed piece of wood and roasted it. He (peace and blessings be upon him) ate from it, and he neither rinsed his mouth nor performed ablution."
