Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9407 — Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud passed by two men

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَالَ: مَرَّ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ بِرَجُلَيْنِ يَتَكَلَّمَانِ بَعْدَ طُلُوعِ الْفَجْرِ، فَقَالَ: «يَا هَذَانِ، إِمَّا أَنْ تُصَلِّيَا، وَإِمَّا أَنْ تَسْكُتَا»
Mujahid narrates that Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by two men who were talking after the break of dawn, and he said: "O you two! Either pray or be silent."
