حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: «كَانَ عَزِيزًا عَلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنْ يَتَكَلَّمَ بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ إِلَّا بِذِكْرِ اللهِ»
Abu Ubaydah bin Abdullah narrates that it weighed heavily on Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that any speech be made after Fajr other than the remembrance of Allah.
