حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَلَطِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا أَبُو الْعُمَيْسِ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ، قَالَ: «كَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ لَا يَقْنُتُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْغَدَاةِ، وَإِذَا قَنَتَ فِي الْوِتْرِ قَنَتَ قَبْلَ الرَّكْعَةِ»
Abd al-Rahman bin al-Aswad narrates: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) did not recite the qunut in the Fajr prayer, and when he recited the qunut in witr, he recited it before bowing.
