Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9388 — Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud said: Witr

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ثنا زَائِدَةُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: «الْوِتْرُ ثَلَاثٌ كَوِتْرِ النَّهَارِ صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ»
Abd al-Rahman bin Yazid narrates: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Witr is three rak'ahs, like the witr of the day, that is, the Maghrib prayer."
