Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9382 — from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud that he said: I

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ثنا زَائِدَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: «مَا بَالَيْتُ أَنَّ صَلَاةَ الْفَجْرِ أُقِيمَتْ وَأَنَا أُوتِرُ»
Hisham bin Urwah narrates from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "I would not mind if the Fajr prayer were begun (with the iqamah) while I was still praying witr."
