حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ثنا زَائِدَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وَعَبْدُ اللهِ الْمَسْجِدَ، وَالْقَوْمُ رُكُوعٌ فَرَكَعْنَا، ثُمَّ مَشَيْنَا حَتَّى دَخَلْنَا فِي الْقَوْمِ فَرَفَعُوا رُءُوسَهُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا مَعَهُمْ، فَلَمَّا أَنْ فَرَغْنَا مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ قُمْتُ لِأَقْضِيَ، فَحَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ، فَقَالَ: «قَدْ أَتْمَمْتَ الصَّلَاةَ»
Zayd bin Wahb (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Sayyiduna Abdullah (bin Mas'ud) (may Allah be pleased with him) and I entered the mosque while the people were bowing, so we also bowed. Then we kept walking until we joined the people; they raised their heads and we raised ours with them. When we finished the prayer, I stood up to make up (the missed rak'ah), but Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said to me: "You have completed your prayer."
