Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9305 — When the imam says the salam, he should

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "When the imam says the salam, he should either stand up or turn away from his place." I asked: Is it sufficient for him to turn from his place while still facing the qiblah? He said: "The turning should be towards the west or the east; this is narrated from more than one person."
