حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَبْصُقَ، وَمَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ فَارِغٌ «فَكَرِهَ أَنْ يَبْصُقَ، عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، وَلَيْسَ فِي صَلَاةٍ»
Abd al-Rahman bin Yazid narrates: We were with Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him). He wanted to spit, and the space on his right side was empty, yet he disliked spitting to his right, even though he was not in prayer.
