Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9222 — he heard Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَارِثُ بْنُ الْأَزْمَعِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ، يَقُولُ: «أَيُّمَا جُنُبٍ اغْتَسَلَ بِخِطْمِيٍّ فَقَدْ أَبْلَغَ»
Al-Harith bin al-Azma' narrates that he heard Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) say: "Whoever is in a state of major ritual impurity (junub) and bathes with khitmi (a soap-like plant) has done enough."
