Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9220 — Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud was asked

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ، سُئِلَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ؟ فَقَالَ: «إِذَا بَلَغْتُ ذَلِكَ اغْتَسَلْتُ» قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: «وَالْجَمَاعَةُ عَلَى الْغُسْلِ»
Alqamah narrates: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about this, and he said: "When I reach that point, I take a ritual bath (ghusl)."
