حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ، قَالَ: «جَعَلَ عَبْدُ اللهِ الْمَسْحَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ لِلْمُسَافِرِ، وَيَوْمًا لِلْمُقِيمِ»
Al-Harith bin Suwayd narrates: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) fixed the period of wiping (masah) at three days for the traveller and one day for the resident.
