Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9169 — Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud said

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: «كَبَّرَ عَبْدُ اللهِ، حِينَ افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ، فَقَالَ هَكَذَا» وَرَفَعَ مِسْعَرٌ يَدَيْهِ فَوْقَ صَدْرِهِ
Ibrahim (al-Nakha'i) narrates: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said the takbir when he began the prayer and did like this. (The narrator Mis'ar, while relating this, demonstrated by raising both his hands up above his chest.)
