Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9025 — A good dream is one part of seventy parts

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، ثنا الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، ثنا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: «الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ، وَإِنَّ السَّمُومَ الَّتِي خُلِقَ مِنْهَا الْجَانُّ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ، وَإِنَّ نَارَكُمْ هَذِهِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمْ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "A good dream is one part of seventy parts of prophethood; and the scorching wind from which the jinn were created is one part of seventy parts of the fire of Hell; and this fire of yours (in this world) is one part of seventy parts of the fire of Hell."
