حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا مَعْمَرُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ السَّعْدِيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ، قَالَ: «أَوَّلُ مَنْ صَلَّى الضُّحَى رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُكَنَّى بِأَبِي الزَّوَائِدِ»
Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunayf (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The first to pray the forenoon prayer (Duha) was a man from among the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) who was known by the kunyah Abu al-Zawa'id."
