Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8933 — I resolved within myself that I would

Murrah al-Hamdani (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I resolved within myself that I would pray behind every pillar of the mosque of Kufah. While I was praying, Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) came into the mosque. I went to tell him about my (practice), but a man got there before me and told him what I was doing. So Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "If he knew that Allah Almighty is at the nearest pillar, he would not leave it until he had completed his prayer."
