Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8919 — By the One besides whom there is no god!

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: وَالَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُهُ، «لَقَدْ قَسَّمَ اللهُ هَذَا الْفَيْءَ عَلَى لِسَانِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُفْتَحَ فَارِسُ، وَالرُّومُ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: By the One besides whom there is no god! "Allah Almighty divided this fay' (spoils gained without fighting) through the tongue of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) before Persia and Rome were conquered."
