Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8898 — I think that a man forgets the knowledge

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: «إِنِّي لَأَحْسِبُ الرَّجُلَ يَنْسَى الْعِلْمَ كُلَّمَا يَعْلَمُهُ الْخَطِيئَةَ يَعْمَلُهَا»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I think that a man forgets the knowledge he knows because of the sin that he commits."
