Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8895 — The fear of Allah is sufficient

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: «كَفَى بِخَشْيَةِ اللهِ عِلْمًا، وَكَفَى بِاغْتِرَارٍ بِاللهِ جَهْلًا»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The fear of Allah is sufficient as knowledge, and being deluded about Allah is sufficient as ignorance."
