Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8828 — It is part of faith that a man loves

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: «إِنَّ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ أَنْ يُحِبَّ الرَّجُلُ أَخَاهُ لَا يُحِبُّهُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَفِيهِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "It is part of faith that a man loves his brother, and loves him only for Allah and for the sake of Allah."
