Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8756 — A man will never find the taste of faith

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «لَنْ يَجِدَ رَجُلٌ طَعْمَ الْإِيمَانِ حَتَّى يُؤْمِنَ بِالْقَدَرِ، وَيَعْلَمَ أَنَّهُ مَيِّتٌ، وَأَنَّهُ مَبْعُوثٌ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "A man will never find the taste of faith until he believes in divine decree (qadar) and knows that he will die and that he will be raised again."
