Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8722 — The man who hoards wealth will

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ثنا زَائِدَةُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: «يُكْوَى رَجُلٌ، يَكْنِزُ فَيَمَسُّ دِرْهَمٌ دِرْهَمًا، وَلَا دِينَارٌ دِينَارًا يُوَسَّعُ جِلْدُهُ حَتَّى يُوضَعَ كُلُّ دِينَارٍ وَدِرْهَمٍ عَلَى حِدَتِهِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The man who hoards wealth will be branded, and no dirham will touch another dirham, nor any dinar another dinar; his skin will be expanded so much that every dinar and dirham will be placed separately."
