Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8713 — By Allah, besides whom there is no deity

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ثنا زَائِدَةُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ حَيَّانَ، عَنْ عَنْبَسِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: «وَاللهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُهُ مَا عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْأَرْضِ شَيْءٌ أَحْوَجُ إِلَى طُولِ سِجْنٍ مِنْ لِسَانٍ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "By Allah, besides whom there is no deity, there is nothing on the back of the earth more in need of long imprisonment than the tongue."
