Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8708 — These five obligatory prayers are

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ثنا زَائِدَةُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: «إِنَّ هَؤُلَاءِ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْحَقَائِقُ كَفَّارَاتٌ لِمَا بَيْنَهُنَّ مَا اجْتُنِبَتِ الْكَبَائِرُ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "These five obligatory prayers are an expiation for the sins committed between them, as long as the major sins are avoided."
