Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8703 — When Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud recited Surah

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا عَارِمٌ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي صَدَقَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، " أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ، كَانَ إِذَا قَرَأَ: النَّجْمَ عَلَى النَّاسِ سَجَدَ بِهَا، وَإِذَا قَرَأَهَا فِي الصَّلَاةِ رَكَعَ بِهَا وَسَجَدَ "
Muhammad bin Sirin narrates: When Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) recited Surah al-Najm before the people, he would prostrate in it, and when he recited it in the prayer, he would bow and prostrate with it.
