حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ: «إِنَّمَا هِي تَوْبَةُ نَبِيٍّ ذُكِرَتْ، فَكَانَ لَا يَسْجُدُ فِيهَا» يَعْنِي ص
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "This is only the mention of the repentance of a prophet," so he would not prostrate in it, meaning he said this about Surah Sad.
