حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّائِغُ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثنا هُشَيْمٌ، أَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْكُوفِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الْكِنَانِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّهُ " كَانَ يَقْرَؤُهَا: «الْحَيُّ الْقَيَّامُ»
Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) used to recite it in this way: 'al-hayy al-qayyam' (meaning: "the Ever-Living, the One who sustains all").
