حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى زَحْمَوَيْهِ، ثنا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، وَمَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: «إِذَا رَأَيْتَ الْفَاجِرَ فَلَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ أَنْ تُغِيَّرَ عَلَيْهِ فَاكْفَهِرَّ فِي وَجْهِهِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "When you see a wicked sinner and you are unable to change him (by word or hand), then at least treat him with a stern face."
