Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8520 — The righteous will depart

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ، ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: «يَذْهَبُ الصَّالِحُونَ أَسْلَافًا، وَيَبْقَى أَهْلُ الرِّيَبِ مَنْ لَا يَعْرِفُ مَعْرُوفًا وَلَا يُنْكِرُ مُنْكَرًا»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The righteous will depart (from this world) one after another, and there will remain people of doubt, who neither recognise good nor reject evil."
