Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8476 — For me to remember Allah from morning

حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: «لَأَنْ أَذَكَرَ اللهَ يَوْمًا إِلَى اللَّيْلِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَحْمِلَ عَلَى الْجِيَادِ يَوْمًا إِلَى اللَّيْلِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "For me to remember Allah from morning until evening is dearer to me than to charge on swift horses (in jihad) from morning until evening."
