أيمن ابن أم أيمن استشهد يوم حنين " وهو أيمن بن عبيد أخو بني عوف بن الخزرج، وهو أخو أسامة بن زيد لأمه "
Ayman son of Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with him), who was martyred on the day of Hunayn: he is Ayman bin Ubayd, of Banu Awf bin al-Khazraj, and the maternal half-brother of Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 846 — In the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْبَاقِيِ الْأَدْنَى، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصَفًّى، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَيْمَنَ الْحَبَشِيِّ، قَالَ: «كَانَتِ الْأَيْدِي تُقْطَعُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ثَمَنِ الْمِجَنِّ»
Sayyiduna Ayman al-Habashi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "In the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), hands were cut off for stealing the price of a shield."
