حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ: «أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بَأَقْرَبِ النَّاسِ، شَبَهًا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَدْيًا وَدَلًّا وَسَمْتًا؟» قُلْنَا: بَلَى، قَالَ: «عَبْدُ اللهِ»
Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Shall I not tell you of the person who most closely resembles the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in conduct, bearing and dignity?" We said: "Certainly." He said: "Abdullah."
