أيمن ابن أم أيمن استشهد يوم حنين " وهو أيمن بن عبيد أخو بني عوف بن الخزرج، وهو أخو أسامة بن زيد لأمه "
Ayman son of Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with him), who was martyred on the day of Hunayn: he is Ayman bin Ubayd, of Banu Awf bin al-Khazraj, and the maternal half-brother of Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادِ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي مَيْسَرَةَ، قَالَ: «كَانَ أَيْمَنُ عَلَى مَطْهَرَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَعْلَيْهِ، وَيُعَاطِيهِ حَاجَتَهُ»
The narrator said: "Sayyiduna Ayman (may Allah be pleased with him) was in charge of the ablution water of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his sandals, and he used to hand him the things he needed."
