Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8430 — he recited the Qur'an before the Prophet

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (bin Mas'ud) (may Allah be pleased with him) that he recited the Qur'an before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) until he reached this verse: "So how will it be when We bring from every nation a witness, and bring you as a witness over these?" [Surah al-Nisa': 41]. (The narrator said:) The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) wept, and he said in the hadith: "Whoever would like to recite the Qur'an fresh, just as it was revealed, let him recite it according to the recitation of Ibn Umm Abd."
