Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8377 — Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud had two
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو حَفْصٍ عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي ذُبَابٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ، «أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُ كَانَ لَهُ ضَفِيرَتَانِ، عَلَيْهِ مِسْحَةُ أَهْلِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ، وَكَانَ دَقِيقَ السَّاقَيْنِ»
Abu Ma'mar narrates that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) had two braids, he had the look of the people of the Jahiliyyah about him, and both his shins were thin.
