Mutarrif bin Abdullah bin al-Shikhkhir from Uthman bin Abi al-As (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8332 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Fasting three days

حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ حَمْدَوَيْهِ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «صِيَامٌ حَسَنٌ صِيَامُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uthman bin Abi al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Fasting three days of every month is a good fast."
