حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي وَجْزَةَ السَّعْدِيِّ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِطَعَامٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ: «يَا عُمَرُ يَا بُنَيَّ، سَمِّ اللهَ، وَكُلْ بِيَمِينِكَ، وَكُلْ مِمَّا يَلِيكَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar bin Abi Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that food was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "O Umar, O my son! Mention the name of Allah, eat with your right hand, and eat from what is near you."
