حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مُخَارِقٍ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ: جَاءَ وَفْدُ قَيْسٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: «ابْدَأْ بِالْأَحْمَسِيِّينَ عَلَى الْقَيْسِيِّينَ، اللهُمَّ بَارِكْ فِي الْأَحْمَسِيِّينَ وَرِجَالِهِمْ»
Sayyiduna Tariq bin Shihab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The delegation of Qays came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Give precedence to the Ahmasis over the Qaysis. O Allah, bless the Ahmasis and their men."
