Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8174 — I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا غُنْدَرٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَغَزَوْتُ فِي خِلَافَةِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا وَأَرْبَعِينَ مِنْ بَيْنِ غَزْوَةٍ إِلَى سَرِيَّةٍ»
Sayyiduna Tariq bin Shihab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and during the caliphate of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) I fought in jihad thirty-three or forty-three times, ranging from major campaigns (ghazwah) to small expeditions (sariyyah)."
