Companions Whose Names Begin with Sad (ص)
أبو غالب صاحب المحجن، واسمه حزور
Abu Ghalib, the man with the staff, whose name was Hazawwar
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8056 — the Prophet ﷺ smiled, then said: I marvel
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، ثنا أَبِي، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي غَالِبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: اسْتَضْحَكَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «عَجِبْتُ لِأَقْوَامٍ يُسَاقُونَ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ فِي السَّلَاسِلِ، وَهُمْ كَارِهُونَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) smiled, then said: "I marvel at people who are driven to Paradise in chains while they are unwilling."
