أبو غالب صاحب المحجن، واسمه حزور
Abu Ghalib, the man with the staff, whose name was Hazawwar
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8023 — I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say

حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ النَّشِيطِيُّ، ثنا سَلْمُ بْنُ زُرَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي غَالِبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «افْتَرَقَتْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ عَلَى إِحْدَى وَسَبْعِينَ فِرْقَةً تَزِيدُ عَلَيْهَا أُمَّتِي فِرْقَةً كُلُّهَا فِي النَّارِ إِلَّا السَّوَادَ الْأَعْظَمَ»
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The Children of Israel split into seventy-one sects, and my Ummah will exceed them by one sect. All of them will be in Hell except al-Sawad al-A'zam (the greatest body)."
