حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحَارِثِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو خَلْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي غَالِبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: «كُنَّا نُسَمِّي أَصْحَابَ الْأَهْوَاءِ كِلَابَ النَّارِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "We used to call the misguided people of innovation the dogs of Hell."
