It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever peeps at a people through a peephole and his eye is put out, there is no compensation for it."
Hafs said: "Qatarah means a peephole (an opening in the wall)."
