أبو مليح بن أسامة الهذلي، عن أبي أمامة
Abu al-Malih bin Usamah al-Hudhali from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7972 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: My Lord

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، ثنا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مَلِيحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «آتَانِي رَبِّي السَّبْعَ الطِّوَالَ مَكَانَ التَّوْرَاةِ، وَالْمِئِينَ مَكَانَ الْإِنْجِيلِ، وَفُضِّلْتُ بِالْمُفَصَّلِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My Lord gave me the Seven Long (Surahs, al-Sab' al-Tiwal) in place of the Torah, and the Mi'in (the surahs of about a hundred verses) in place of the Injil, and He favoured me with the Mufassal surahs."
