Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7968 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ السِّمْسَارُ، ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ خِدَاشٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَفْصٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَبِي أَيُّوبَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ: «يَا أَبَا أَيُّوبَ، أَلَا أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى عَمِلٍ يَرْضَاهُ اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ؟» قَالَ: بَلَى. قَالَ: «تُصْلِحُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ إِذَا تَفَاسَدُوا، وَتُقَارِبُ بَيْنَهُمْ إِذَا تَبَاعَدُوا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him): "O Abu Ayyub, shall I not guide you to a deed that Allah and His Messenger are pleased with?" He said: Certainly. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Make peace between people when their relations go bad, and bring them close together when they drift apart."
