Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7965 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Bathing (ghusl)

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَزَّازُ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ بِشْرِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ، ثنا مِسْكِينٌ أَبُو فَاطِمَةَ، ثنا حَوْشَبُ بْنُ عَقِيلٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّ الْغُسْلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ لَيَسْتَلُّ الْخَطَايَا مِنْ أُصُولِ الشَّعْرِ اسْتِلَاةً»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Bathing (ghusl) on the day of Jumu'ah draws sins out from the roots of the hair, just as a thing is pulled out."
