Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7930 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Whoever relates

حَدَّثَنَا عَلَّانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ حَدَّثَ حَدِيثًا كَمَا سَمِعَ، فَإِنْ كَانَ بَرًّا وَصِدْقًا فَلَكَ، وَإِنْ كَانَ كَذِبًا فَعَلَى مَنْ بَدَأَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever relates a report just as he heard it, then if it is righteousness and truth, its reward is yours; and if it is a lie, its sin is upon the one who started it."
