Jafar bin al-Zubayr from al-Qasim
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7923 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: One
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ غُرَابٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الصَّائِمُ الْمُتَطَوِّعُ بِالْخِيَارِ إِلَى نِصْفِ النَّهَارِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "One who is observing a voluntary fast has the choice (to break it or to keep it) until midday."
